How to accept a request for payment

Did you receive a MazumaGo payment request via email or a payment link along with your invoice?

Paying an invoice with MazumaGo

Here are a few things to note you might be wondering about: 

  • You are not required to sign up for MazumaGo.
  • You will not be charged for accepting any payment requests.
  • Your payment will be deposited into the recipient's account within 2-3 business days.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Follow the 'Accept Request' button in the email that was sent to you, or click the Payment Link included in your invoice.Screen Shot 2021-06-09 at 4.03.23 PM

  2. To make the payment, click 'Pay request now'.
  3. You then have two options of how you want to pay. To pay with your bank account, select 'Bank Transfer'. To pay with your credit card, select 'Credit Card'

    Note: When paying with a credit card, you will incur a 3.5% platform fee on your transaction. 



  4. If you choose to log in with your bank account, click 'Bank transfer'. You will then have a choice of how to connect your bank account, either via online banking or with manual entry.
     

    1. Choose your desired method of connecting your bank account, accurately enter your details, then click 'Review & pay'.
       

    2. Review the details of the payment, and if you are satisfied, agree to the terms and conditions, and click 'Pay Now'

    3. Your payment will now be initiated. From this page, you can choose to track the payment, download a PDF receipt, or close the window. 

  5. If you choose to pay with a credit card, accurately enter your payment number details, then click 'Review & Pay'.
